Dahomey won the Golden Bear Award at the Berlin International Film Festival and has been selected as Senegal’s entry to the 2025 Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category.

Dahomey has been shortlisted for the 2025 LUX Audience Award. The LUX Audience Award is presented annually by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, in partnership with the European Commission and Europa Cinemas. The audience can vote for the films by rating here
