Three destinies, those of a journalist, news director on a radio station, a farmer’s son recycled in a textile industry itself in mutation, and that of a worker’s daughter who became a fashion designer, intertwine in counterpoint to the theories formulated from his laboratory by Professor Laborit, a biologist and analyst of the behavior of rats and men living in society.
