Ecology in Comics: Talk with Laurent Quesada

There’s nothing like a comic strip to clearly and humorously explain concepts that are generally considered complex. Laurent Quesada, head of comic book programming at the Cabaret Vert Festival, will be talking about Ecology in Comics and will introduce the Exhibition Prix BD Cabaret Vert, shown at the French Institute from 15 April to 22 May!

Le Cabaret Vert is a multi-disciplinary festival at Charleville-Mézières in the Ardennes. It lasts 4 days in mid-August, the 18th edition will take place from the 14th to the 17th of August 2025. Present since the festival’s first edition, comics occupy a significant part of the festival’s programming each year.

Signing sessions, meetings with authors, as well as exhibitions, workshops, screenings, and panel discussions make up the rich and varied program of the Cabaret Vert Comics Festival.

During the festival, the Prix BD Cabaret Vert is awarded to comic books whose story deals with one or more topics related to sustainable development. Come to discover the Prix BD Cabaret Vert winners in a unique exhibition!
