Lapin is cold. Very cold. But how can he warm up? Join Tania and her Parisian garden friends as they embark on a charming bilingual adventure in the cold French winter.

To celebrate the publication by CALEC of her second bilingual picture book, Lapin is Cold, author and teaching artist Tania Czajka will perform a short puppet show. The event will close with a light snack and the opportunity to buy signed copies of the book. The first book Lapin is Hungry will also be available in Chinese / French, German / French and Arabic / French, along with its original English / French version. Both books are accessible to non-French speakers. Each copy will be sold at £10 (free resources included).

This event is organized as part of Languages Week Scotland.

Tania and Olivier Czajka are French native siblings.

Tania is a M.Ed Teaching Artist and Early Years Practitioner living in Scotland since 1991. Passionate about making French language accessible to all children through the arts, Tania set up Le Petit Monde in 2008 and has developed her own bilingual English / French writing style for her puppet shows and picture books.

Olivier is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. With a vibrant imagination and a gift for drawing, he founded Robbygraphics in Bordeaux in 2011. After having brought to life the characters of Le Petit Monde, he developed a playful and colourful identity for the company. Today, still living in France and father of a little girl, he enjoys accompanying Tania and Lapin in their new adventures.
