Ionah Maiatsky, piano

Emma Gibout is a French violinist who studied in Lyon with Marianne Piketty for her bachelor’s degree and then at the Hanns Eisler für Musik in Berlin in the class of Ulf Wallin for her master’s degree. She is particularly passionate about chamber music and has collaborated with artists such as Françoise Gneri, Emmanuelle Bertrand and Gilles Apap. Since 2021, Emma has been concertmaster of the Orchestre des Pays de Savoie, and has played as guest concertmaster in other renowned orchestras. In 2018, she won first prize at the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition in Belgium.

A pianist of Franco-Russian origin, Ionah Maiatsky has distinguished himself in international competitions: in 2021, he was selected for the prestigious Clara Haskil competition and received the First Prize at the Albert Roussel competition in Paris. Fascinated as much by the repertoire for piano alone as by chamber music, he regularly performs on stage at festivals such as the Ravel festival. He had the chance to work during masterclasses with renowned musicians, such as Jean-François Heisser or with chamber musicians, such as members of the Ébène and Modigliani quartets.
