Join us for a delightful evening of French Honey Tasting Experience! Get ready to savour the rich flavours of France’s finest honey varieties.

Immerse yourself in the world of honey as our expert honey sommelier Gino will guide you through a unique tasting journey. Discover the distinct characteristics and aromas of different types of honey, sourced locally from France.

During the experience, you’ll have the opportunity to sample a wide range of honey varieties, and learn the story of the bees that produced them.

Whether you’re a honey enthusiast or simply curious about the wonders of honey, this event promises to be a sweet adventure. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to taste the natural sweetness of France!

Dr Gino Jabbar is a beekeeper from Edinburgh with a passion for honey, and a great respect for its makers; the honey bees. He holds: A Beemaster qualification in practical beekeeping, the Advanced Module Certificate for completing all 7 theory exam papers (the beekeeping year, plants & honey, pests & disease, bee anatomy, honey bee behaviour, reproduction & genetics, and advanced honey bee management), Train the Trainers Certificate for teaching beekeeping, as well as nine years experience with caring for bees.

He is also a keen supporter of local and major honey shows, regularly exhibiting and contributing to their running, and greeting visitors at The Royal Highland Show and the National Honey Show in London.  He is also a honey sensory judge for international honey varieties at the prestigious London International Honey Awards.

He is actively involved with the Scottish Beekeeping Community and keep current on best practice. Where he is a member of local bee clubs, serves as a trustee for the governing body for beekeeping in Scotland The Scottish Beekeepers’ Association (SBA), and organises, and hosts a very popular beekeeping webinar once a month for the Scottish beekeeping community.
